Life Style Sports - Sale & Promo creative
I developed the creative for the sale and promotion campaigns for Life Style Sports. Here are two examples of these campaigns in which I produced digital assets for the company website, social and paid media channels, as well as printed assets for In-store and store front use. The blue sale creative is used for small promotions with multiple offers for specific product categories such as leggings and hoodies. we needed to showcase the multiple offers in the creative, while leaving space for product imagery. The colour scheme needed to revolve around the company’s primary blue colour. I wanted the creative to be fun, playful and eye catching. I achieved this by showcasing the promo offers in bold and colourful circles. I then introduced smiley faces to help break up the information, while adding a playful element to the overall design. I also included product imagery to showcase some of the items in the promotion. This creative is still being used to advertised new promotions. The red sale creative is used for larger scale reductions and across many product categories. For this creative, the copy needed to be the main focus in each of the assets and the main colour needed to be red. By using a very limited colour palette, I have created a simple and cohesive visual identity for the campaign. I used different shades of red and subtle animation to help draw the viewers attention to the main message.

Theriatric
This project are my Theriatric Illustrations which depict different mental illnesses and their symptoms. In my experience there seems to be a lack of understanding of the manifestations of certain mental illnesses and how they impact on a person’s life. This lack of understanding leads to stigma being attached to mental health issues. To combat this, I decided to illustrate how these illnesses can affect a person’s life to try and make them tangible, as mental health illnesses cannot be seen. To do this I illustrated a person’s mental state as a hot air balloon. I decided on the hot air balloon asI believe it is an accurate representation of our mental health. It clearly portrays the fragility and vulnerability of our mental health and how susceptible it is to influence from the world around us. In each depiction I also incorporated a different animal to portray the manifestations of the mental illness. In each illustration the animals influence on the hot air balloon depicts how each mental illness affects a person’s mental health. This series of illustrations is called “Theriatric” which is a combination of the words “therian” and “psychiatric”. At therian is someone who feels a connection with animals and psychiatric is a medical field focused on the diagnosis and treatment of mental health conditions.

I designed and printed an array of posters, menu designs, online advertisements, animations, merchandise designs and promotion materials for social media. By having complete control of the designs for these venues I was able to create a specific style and identity for each. I was able to carry this style throughout all the designs to allow each venue to have consistency within their branding for advertising and promotions.
